I had the most beautiful late Autumn session with the lovely W Family a few weeks ago and had to share some favourites from our session! The last time I saw this family their oldest daughter was less than a year old (see our previous session here) and now here she is a happy, smiley 3.5 year old and they have also had another gorgeous wee girl join their family (aged 8 months) and it was so lovely to see them again and meet the Grandparents too!
I shot this session at their favourite local park, Sherwood Reserve in Browns Bay. If you are a North Shore family and haven’t been here yet you need to visit, your kids will love this park! There are walking trails, mature trees, a pond perfect for duck feeding and the best playground I have seen in a while! With the sun setting behind the hillside and the last of the Autumn leaves as a backdrop it also made a great shoot location for us on a sunny, late Autumn afternoon.
As beautiful as our location was, you’ll soon see that this family were even more so! They did such a great job co-ordinating their outfits and I loved the soft tones and textures they chose to wear, such a beautiful choice for the cooler months. The girls were completely adorable of course and Miss 3.5 had the sweetest relationship with her Grandfather, so very precious to capture!
