When this lovely young family contacted me to capture their portraits while they were visiting New Zealand on holiday I was so excited to meet them! E-mails flew back and forth as we discussed locations, wardrobe ideas and styling and I watched the weather closely the week of our session as we had such a short window of time to capture their portraits before they flew home. Luck was on our side and we couldn’t have been more thrilled when the sun shone beautifully on shoot day!
The gentle evening sunlight and end of Summer flowers at the park worked so well with their soft, romantic clothing choices and really added to the story of their family that night. The shoot itself went so smoothly and despite Mum telling me about how shy her little girl could be with new people I was bestowed with so many smiles and downright belly laughs by the end of the shoot! Isn’t that big grin of hers priceless?!
Master Three was such a sweet little guy and we had so much fun being silly and running around the trees – I think he decided I was pretty funny too! This family was a true pleasure to work with and I hope they get to visit our shores again soon! Enjoy this little peek into our soft and sweet evening family session…
