I was so lucky to photograph the gorgeous and very much in love G+A the other week to celebrate their engagement! It was the perfect mid-Summer evening, balmy with barely a breeze and we began our session at the park to capture some of the beautiful summer flowers and rich greenery. It was such a change for me to be photographing two adults without any kiddo’s around! Definitely a shift in mindset to get used to the fact they would stay exactly where I put them for more than 10 seconds and it meant I could capture that ooey gooey perfect light in every photo too?! Amazing!!
We chased the light through the park as long as we could (it’s hard to tear myself away from such beautiful backlight!) then finished up the session at nearby Westhaven Marina to capture the sunset and the city skyline. Auckland really put on a show for us that night as the sun went down, the sky was ablaze with pinks and purples, so insanely beautiful, we all agreed we are so lucky to call this city home!
