G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S I think that’s the only word to sum up this fun sunset session at the beach! We had the perfect evening for a family beach shoot a couple of months back and I’m so excited to share some of my favourite images!
For those of you who might be considering your own beach session once the weather warms up let me tell you that the beach is one of my absolute favourite places to hold a session! What I do find however is that due to the harsh light and unshaded open spaces I always need to schedule these shoots later in the day. During Autumn the perfect time is at about 4pm which is great for families with little ones who don’t want to keep them up too late, while as the days get longer beach sessions need to be scheduled later in the evening with my Summer beach sessions taking place at around 7.30pm. I always tell parents not to let this put them off a beach shoot with littlies, keeping your wee ones up for one evening is more than worth it for the dreamy lighting we find!
